A very beautiful 14 K gold IWC dress watch with extract from the archives, circa 1923. A 14 K gold, dome also 14 K gold and signed “International Watch Co Schaffhausen”, extravagant and well preserved case with relief rim and decorated bow, striped decoration on back with blank coat of arms cartouche, caliber 73-17″/H4, fine gilt bar movement, bimetallic screw balance, blued Breguet hairspring, swan-neck fine adjusting device, lever escapement, minute wheel with screwed chaton, rubies, polished screws (2 screws missing), polished winding wheels with sunburst decoration, winding and time setting with crown, gold coloured lacquered metal dial signed “International Watch Co Schaffhausen”, black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, very beautiful blued Breguet steel hands, plastic glass (upper part with some cracks), case in excellent condition, movement in full working order, collector’s watch, formerly sold on 28th of December 1923 to Hugo Weisz in Vienna, with extract from the archives.
