A very fine, large and heavy, hunting cased, keyless, minute repeating Swiss pocket watch with split seconds chronograph, circa 1890. 18 Carfat gold case with engine turned covers, polished band and gold hinged cuvette. Enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes/seconds track, subsidiary dial for the constant seconds, split seconds, outer chronograph scale 0-300, and spade hands. Rhodium plated movement, finely ground, with bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, hand tong for split seconds, side lever escapement and screw compensation balance.
Signature on movement and dial, case numbered.
