A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by Ulysse Nardin, Le Locle & Geneva, circa 1930. The cover and case back are polished, cover engraved and blue enamelled with the cypher LJ. The cuvette is engraved in fine cut with the mention: À Monsieur/Louis Jeanneret/en reconnaissance/de vingt années de fidèles services/Fabrique des/Produits alimentaires Maggi/1902 20 novembre 1932. White enamel dial, with suspended Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and blued steel spade hands. A gilded brass movement, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index regulator with swanneck spring and micrometric screw. Signature on the dial and movement.
