A very fine and rare Swiss 18K gold, grande sonnerie keyless clockwatch with minute repeating, made in 1905. Made for the Eastern market.
Gilt, 26 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, striking and repeating on two gongs, repeat button in the band. Dedicated hinged gold cuvette. Engine turned case back with vacant foliate cartouche, sonnerie/silence and hand setting buttons in the band.
White enamel inscribed Emroullah 1906, with Islamic numerals, outer minute track and Turkish five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. Dial signed.
