Gold hunting cased lever pocket watch

A very fine Swiss, large 18k gold minute repeating, hunting cased, a keyless pocket watch with a chronograph, circa 1888. Made for the Hispanic market. A solid, polished case, the back cover with engraved dedication. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the technical details, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. White enamel dial three-piece, with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, a fifth of second chronograph divisions calibrated t0 300 units, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, visible chronograph work. Dial, case and movement signed.
