Gold minute repeating chronograph by Patek Philippe

A fine and extremely rare, Swiss, manual wind, 18-carat yellow gold minute repeating pocket watch with split-second chronograph, 1905. Retailed by Schreve & Co, San Francisco.
A solid, polished case, rectangular pusher on the band at 11 for the split-seconds function and bolt for locking the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication. White enamel dial with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute and 1/5 seconds divisions with red Arabic 5-minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds, 30-minute register, and yellow gold Louis XV hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. Accompanied by later Patek Philippe wooden box, and extract from the Archives.
