A very fine Swiss, thin, keyless, 18K yellow gold and enamel dress watch, circa 1930. Made for Ralph Dewey, Paris-New York. Accompanied by its original travel case. A solid, engine-turned case with foliage decoration, case back with a blue champlevé enamelled circle, sapphire-set winding crown. Matte silver dial with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued steel spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to five positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial signed case and movement numbered.
