A rare Swiss, 18 carat yellow gold keyless dress watch with chronograph, circa 1940.
A polished case inclined bezel, snap on back, co axial button in the crown for the start/ stop and return to zero functions of the chronograph. Two tone gilt dial with black Arabic numerals, outer minutes and fifths of a second division, outermost blue pulsation scale, subsidiary seconds and instantaneous 30 minute register and blued steel feuille hands. Matte gilt movement, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed a case punched EJ for Edmond Jaeger.
