Fine and rare gold chronograph
–
A very fine Swiss lever chronometer with chronograph and 30 min. counter, with original box and original certificate, circa 1930.
Exceptional pieces such as this usually came with a chronometer certificate issued by the observatory in Geneva. Lever chronometers with additional functions such as the chronograph and counter here are incredibly rare, so that this watch and its original case and certificate make for a truly marvellous combination.
An 18 carat gold case, white enamel dial with gold hands, Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, sunk 30 min. counter. It has a bridge movement and a large gold screw compensation balance.
