Gold gentleman’s open faced watch from Patek Philippe

A gentleman’s excellent, rare Geneva pocket watch with independent jumping centre seconds, accompanied by a Patek Philippe extract from the archives, circa 1865. The watch features an 18 carat gold case, polished and monogrammed, with a reeded design in a à goutte style. It boasts a glazed movement and an enamel dial with radial Roman numerals. Additionally, it has an independent jumping centre seconds hand and blued Breguet hands. The bridge movement is nickelplated and adorned with fausses côtes decoration. It includes two barrels, a pink gold train, and wolfteeth winding wheels. The balance is made of gold screw compensation, paired with a blued balance spring.
