Gold quarter repeating lever

A Swiss 14 carat yellow gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch, made by A. Huguenin & Sons in Le Locle, circa 1890. The cover is engraved in fine cut with an Eagle. The case back is engraved in fine cut with the cypher FB de G, and has a glazed gold cuvette. Two horological complications: Quarter repeater on two steel gongs by two hammers, activated by the slide located on the case band at 1 o’clock. And 1/5 second chronograph, activated by the olive shaped push piece located on the case band at 12 o’clock with an outer ring divided into 300.

White enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. A nickel plated movement, ¾ plate, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, index regulator, repeater work on the main plate, under the dial; chronograph work on the top plate. Signature on the cuvette.
