Rose gold minute repeating lever

A fine and very rare Swiss, 14K rose gold, hunting cased, keyless pocket watch, circa 1890. Made for the Russian market. Two-train, Grande Sonnerie striking and trip minute repeating with three hammers on three gongs. Engine-turned with polished borders. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Gold spade hands.

A frosted gilt movement, double train with differential winding, 30 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, striking the hours and quarters on three gongs with three stacked hammers, Silence/ Sonnerie selection lever on the bezel border, repeating activated by a push-piece in the band. Dial and cuvette signed in Cyrillic.
