A fine and elegant 14 Carat gold and painted on enamel lady’s keyless pendant watch, made by Louis Muller & Cie, Bienne Switzerland, circa 1890. Four body case with engraved bezel, band and borders, the back cover decorated with a painted on enamel scene of two cranes in a marshland against an opalescent sunset sky and hinged gilt metal cuvette.
White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer gilt dot minute divisions and gold spade hands. Matte gilt movement with 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, three arm balance, flat balance spring and an index regulator.
Movement signed Dido.
