A Swiss lever in silver and niello full hunter case, circa 1920. Nickelled split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bi metallic balance with overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed champagne coloured engine turned dial with subsidiary seconds, applied gold Arabic numerals and gilt hands. Silver full hunter case decorated on both covers with niello and line engraving in a diamond checkerboard pattern. The band is also decorated with niello, plain silver cuvette. 800 standard mark. Maker’s mark ‘Niel HP’ in a shield.
