A fine Swiss minute repeating watch with chronograph, circa 1890.
18 Carat gold case with engraved gold dome, glazed movement, pusher for chronograph at 4 o’clock and pusher for repetition at 6 oçlcock. White signed enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, 30 minute counter, centre chronograph hand and blued spade hands. Gilt 1/2 plate movement with blued screws, mirror polished chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, “Patent 31798”, governor for repetition, screw compensation balance and blued balance spring.
