A Swiss 18 carat pink gold open faced minute repeating keyless pocket watch with three hammer carillon made by Louis Brandt & Frère, circa 1894. This watch comes in its original presentation box, with a Certificate of Authenticity and a two year guarantee.
The polished case with a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions with Arabic five minute markers, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and pink gold spade hands. A nickel silver movement with 30 jewels, four chatons, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance and blued steel Breguet balance spring, three hammers striking on three gongs by activating a slide on the band. Case numbered, movement marked Pat 7832, a patent granted to Louis Brandt & Frère on December 30th, 1883.
