An exceptionally heavy anker chronometer attributed to Henry Beguelin in Le Locle, Switzerland, circa 1890. Made from 18 carat pink gold, this pocket watch boasts a simple yet elegant design. Encased in a plain full hunter case, its individuality is further emphasized by its distinct serial number. The dial of this timepiece is white enamel featuring Roman hours, outer minute divisions, outermost Arabic five minute numerals, a subsidiary dial positioned at 6 o’clock for the seconds and open work hands. The glazed movement of this timepiece is fitted with a Swiss anker chronometer escapement, renowned for its precision and reliability, wolf’s teeth and screwed gold chatons.
