Swiss plastic and glazed on both sides watch Circa 1884

An historically interesting, 1^st series from 1^st year of production according to the “Pallweber” patent, by the International Watch Company in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, circa 1884. The newly made display case of this watch is made of transparent plastic and is glazed on both sides. The original enamel dial features windows for the jumping hours and minutes and a small secondary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and the movement has a lever escapement.
