A very fine and elegant, Belle Epoque, 18K gold and enamel keyless dress pocket watch by Cartier Paris Londres, circa 1905. The back cover with a raised border of chased gold swags and white enamel, the centre with a swirling foliate rosette surrounded by translucent green guilloché enamel, the bezel with a white enamel line border, concealed hinge. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Gold spade hands.
A gilt brass, bar calibre, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed, case numbered.
