Gold keyless chronometer with chronograph

A very fine and extremely rare 18 Carat yellow gold keyless pocket lever chronometer with chronograph and progressive 30 minute register. Accompanied by the original Vacheron & Constantin fitted box and made by Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve Circa 1925. Four body, bassine and polished case with semi concealed hinge, the back cover with engraved initials GC and hinged gold cuvette with engraved presentation inscription.
White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track with Arabic five minute/second numerals, fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds and 30 minute register at 12 o’clock and gold spade hands. Rhodium-plated movement with 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometre regulator and visible chronograph work.
Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.

The property of the family of the original owner, this watch retains the original box and has remained in extremely good condition with a perfect Breguet dial. This model of Vacheron & Constantin chronograph with minute register is extremely uncommon with very few examples known.
