A gold plated hunting cased pocket watch made by Rolex for the English market, circa 1930. It has a plain case, the inside of the back cover is inscribed English make this case guaranteed to wear 10 years. The original white enamel dial has Arabic hours, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. This timepiece has a further very fine nickel plated lever movement of Extra Prima quality with 17 jewels, gold chatons and adjustment in six layers. The cuvette is engraved Presented to J.P. Møller by employees C.W.S. Bacon Factory Winsford England Christmas 1938, the inside is numbered and inscribed Star Dennison trade mark. Dial and movement signed.
