A gentleman’s Geneva pocket watch for the North American market, circa 1905. Made especially for Welsh & Bro, Baltimore Md.
The polished case is 18 Carat gold with a gold dome and glazed movement. The signed dial is enamel with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, and gold Louis XV hands. And the signed rhodium-plated bridge movement has Geneva Striping, gold-chatoned minute wheel, wolf teeth winding wheels, screw compensation balance, patented fine adjusting device, counterpoised lever, and patent specification Pat. Jan. 8. 1884.
