An attractive, Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch with pivoted detent chronometer escapement, circa 1890.
18-Carat gold, engine-turned, à goutte case with an engraved numbered and signed gold dome and glazed movement. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, and blued Fleur-de-Lys hands. Signed bridge movement, frosted, gilt, with screwed gold chatons, wolf teeth winding wheels, pivoted detent chronometer escapement, gold screw compensation balance, and gold escape wheel.
