A fine and rare, 18 carat gold keyless hand-engraved pocket watch made by Vacheron & Constantin, Genève Circa 1912.
Four-body, bassine and polished case with a hinged gold cuvette, the back hand-engraved with scrolls and figures and centred by a shield. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, concentric red Arabic 24 hour scale, subsidiary sunk seconds dial and yellow gold spade hands.
Movement with 16 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance and blued steel Breguet balance spring.
Dial, case and movement signed, cuvette signed Vacheron & Constantin.
