A rare and very early Swiss gold hunting cased pocket watch, formerly noblemen’s possession, circa 1890.
Engine turned 14-carat gold case with very beautiful noblemen’s monogram with 7-point nobility crown and blank cartouches on spring lid, case punch L.U.C., decorated dome and all three lids solid gold; very fine Ankerchronometer movement with gold wheels and big balance with gold screws and also signed L.U.C.; white enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes, sunk subsidiary dial for the constant seconds and pink gold Louis XV hands.
