A Swiss heavy hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch with chronograph, full calendar and moon phase, circa 1905. This pocket watch showcases a 14 carat gold engine turned case with a reeded band. It features a signed gold dome, a pusher for the chronograph function located at 2 o’clock and a slide for repetition at 6. The movement of the watch is glazed. The white enamel dial is signed and displays Arabic hour numerals, auxiliary seconds, a date indicator, apertures for the days and months, a moon phase display, a central chronograph hand and elegant blued spade hands. The movement is a ½ plate design, rhodium plated and adorned with Geneva striping decoration. It includes polished and bevelled steel chronograph parts, a ratchet wheel, two hammers, two gongs, a governor for the repetition function and a screw compensation balance.
