A very fine Swiss 14 carat gold hunting cased quarter repeating lever pocket watch with Jacquemart automaton, circa 1890. Fine lever movement, repeating the hours and quarter hours. The splendid multi-coloured enamel figure automaton is connected to the repeater. Translucent green enamel dial with Roman hours, sunk subsidiary constant seconds and original hands. Engine-turned case, a blank monogram on the front, three gold lids, a reeded band. The dome is inscribed Repetition – Automates No. 50666, Mouvement de la Vallée (Suisse).
