Pocket watch set with half pearls

A large silver and enamel pocket watch of exceptional quality, made for the Chinese market in Fleurier, Switzerland, circa 1860. The numbered open faced case of this watch, which is crafted from silver, is set with half pearls on both sides and has a fine enamel painting on a blue guilloche enamel background of a lady on the back lid. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, center seconds and steel hands. The glazed Fleurier movement has a mock pendulum and a lever escapement.
There is a Chinese signature inside the case and on the movement.
