The open faced case of this watch, which was crafted from silver, has a highly refined engraving on the back lid depicting a pair of lovers. The white enamel face has a compass at 12 o’clock, subsidiary dials for two time zones at 3 and 9, a calendar at 6 indicating the date and days of the week, and an outermost minute track with Arabic quarter hour numerals.
