Verge watch with coin band case

A Jacquemart figure automaton with quarter repeater, made by Duchêne et Fils in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1820. The numbered case of this watch is crafted from silver, has a coined band and an engine turned back. The face is blue enamelled, has small, central white enamel time indication with radial Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, Breguet steel hands and outermost gold decoration, the applied multicoloured Jacquemarts start striking the bells by activating the repeater. The movement has a verge escapement with a quarter repeater.
The cuvette is signed.
