A rare and elegant Danish 18K white gold, Art Deco keyless digital display dress watch with perpetual calendar, circa 1930. Made for Udall & Ballou circa 1930. The bezels and bow are engraved with a foliate pattern, gold hinged cuvette, and back with engraved initials. Silver dial, aperture for the Arabic hours, above sector for the minutes, the top with apertures for days of the week, date and months. Movement with 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to all positions and temperature with Breguet balance spring. Signed on dial, case and movement. This watch is illustrated in The Jurgensen Dynasty by John Knudsen.
