A fine Swiss, 18K yellow gold keyless pocket chronometer, circa 1940. A class A watch with a certificate by Rolex. A polished case with a two-tone, silvered dial, with applied yellow gold bâton indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Gold épée hands. A rhodium-plated movement, polished, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
