Silver self-winding square pocket watch

A fine and rare, sterling silver, self-winding, square pocket watch with power reserve indication. The patent for the Loehr automatic movement was granted to August Von Loehr in January 1878, Circa 1880.
Four body case entirely engraved with masks, scrolls and foliage, hinged case back and silver hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute markers, subsidiary seconds at 10 o’clock, power reserve scale at 2 o’clock and gold Louis XV hands.
Nickel-plated movement with 15 jewels, lateral counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, jewelled T-shaped oscillating weight and an index regulator.
Signed on the dial Loehr Patent, numbered on the cuvette.
