A very heavy, unique Swiss 14 carat rose gold, gemstone and diamond set hunting cased ankerchronometer, circa 1875. Probably on the occasion of the birthday of a lady and dedicated to the lady’s 21st birthday in 1883. Exquisite Swiss ankerchronometer movement, screwed gold chatons, very long regulator hand. Original white enamel dial with Roman numerals, sunken subsidiary dial with Arabic seconds and fine steel Breguet hands. Engine turned à goutte case, engraved monogram, gemstones and diamonds to the front. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
