A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold and enamel open faced verge watch, circa 1750. The watch features a gilded full plate movement with verge escapement, an intricately pierced and engraved balance bridge, a flat steel balance, a fusee and chain, and is signed Le Frères Marchinvile. It has a white enamel dial adorned with Roman numerals, an outer minute track with Arabic five minute divisions, feuille hands, and a winding square at III. The yellow gold engraved case showcases a bezel and case back decorated with flowers and foliage in polychrome and translucent green champlevé enamel.
