A very fine and rare 18 Carat yellow gold keyless dress watch, made by Vacheron & Constantin, Genève Circa 1950. Three-body, polished and brushed case stepped curved bezel and a snap on back with stepped curved border.
Matte silver dial with applied yellow gold dart indexes and Arabic quarter hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and gold bâton hands. Rhodium-plated movement with Geneva striping decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut beryllium balance with timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring and a swan-neck micrometre regulator.
Dial, case and movement signed.
