A very fine, rare and unusual 18 carat yellow gold keyless dress watch with black dial. Retailed by Le Palais in Habana and made by Patek Philippe & Co., Genève, Circa 1950. Three body, bassine, polished and brushed case with inclined bezel, the back with a dedication.
Black dial with applied yellow gold faceted bâton indexes, outer minute track, retailer’s signature above subsidiary seconds and yellow gold dauphine hands. Rhodium-plated movement with Geneva Striping decoration, 17 jewels, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring and a swan-neck micrometre regulator.
Dial, case and movement signed.
