A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced lever pocket watch, made by Patek Philippe & Co., Geneva, Switzerland, circa 1915. The watch features an ultra thin 17”’ Calibre lever movement with 18 jewels and 8 adjustments. It has an engine turned champagne coloured gilt dial with Roman numerals, railway minute divisions, a subsidiary dial for the seconds, and blued steel Breguet hands. The case is made of 18 carat yellow gold, with a hinged case back featuring an enamelled monogram PHG and the text J.H.H. The case, dial, and movement are all signed. A Patek Philippe extract from the Archives accompanies the watch, verifying its sale date as December 27, 1915.

Surface scratches and scuffing throughout the case are visible to the naked eye and consistent with use. Bottom case band with a couple of nicks. Light patina throughout. Previous polish in our view. The dial is in overall very good condition. Hands with heavy oxidation. The movement is running.
