A fine Swiss, an unusual 14k yellow gold dress watch with a spinning outer roulette wheel, circa 1950. A polished and brushed case, the reverse engraved in script Quin, all my chips are for you, Patricia, centre case fitted with ball bearings to allow a free-spinning outer, enamelled with red/ black roulette design on one side and red/black la boule to the other. Matte silvered, two-tone dial with alternate gilt Arabic numerals and indexes. Gilt alpha hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, blued steel overcoil hairspring, cut bimetallic balance. The case, dial and movement are signed.
