Unusual English silver gilt and enamel pendant watch in the form of a violin, circa 1876. A polished case, overlaid with a red tone enamel over a guilloché ground, the front with pierced F holes, the inside with a small snuff container. White enamel dial with Breguet hour numerals, an outer minute track and blued steel hands. A gilt full plate movement with verge escapement, fusee and chain and an index regulator. Case stamped with maker’s mark JM, import marks and date mark.
