Gold pocket watch with coin edge
–
A rare full hunting case pocket watch crafted from 14 Carat gold, made by the International Watch Company in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, circa 1914. The case of this watch has a radiant decoration on the back, a coin edge and all three lids are made of gold. One of the most striking features of this pocket watch is the extremely rare engine-turned dial. The dial is adorned with very distinctive Roman numerals and the blued steel hands are another highlight, adding a touch of sophistication to the design. The precision lever escapement, screwed gold chatons and fine adjustment in the movement of this pocket watch are a testament to the skill of the craftsmen who made it. This attention to detail ensures that the timepiece keeps accurate time, even after more than a century.
