A decorative and heavy Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased pocket chronometer with a one-minute tourbillon made for the Spanish market, circa 1860. Bridge movement, chain and fusee, spring detent escapement according to Thomas Earnshaw, gold screw compensation balance. Silver dial with Roman hours, minute dots, subsidiary seconds, the centre engraved and with applied floral gold decoration, the outer border decorated to match. Engine-turned case, maker’s mark AA. Case numbered.
