A classic Swiss 18 carat gold open faced pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1902. Retailed by Gondolo & Labouriau, Relojoeiros, Rio de Janeiro. Frosted gilt movement, patented bridge caliber, 21 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, wolf’s tooth winding, a gold wheel train, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring and Wilmot’s patented micrometric cam regulator. A hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, Arabic five minute numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gold spade hands. The case is engine turned on the back with a central blue enamelled monogram, plain bezels, pedant and bow. Dial, case, movement and cuvette signed by the watchmaker, dial and cuvette further signed by the retailer, case and movement numbered.
