A very fine Swiss 18K gold and enamel hunting cased cylinder pocket watch, circa 1840. Extra flat cylinder movement, blued steel screws.
Engraved and inscribed cuvette. White enamel screwed dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, gold hands. The high-quality case enamelled on both sides, the front with a scene depicting a water mill with in the background an alpine mountain landscape, the back with an engraved cobalt blue cartouche, finely reeded midsection.
