Gold and enamel open faced pocket watch

An extremely thin Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced pocket watch, circa 1850. Extremely flat cylinder movement, full plate Lépine movement calibre Bagnolet with beautiful and rare decoration, engraved in gold and silver. The calibre is attributed to Philippe Samuel Meylan. Engine turned silver dial with Roman numerals and filigree Breguet hands. Engine turning to the case back, central one cartouche with engraved landscape scene, small enamel inlays. Movement numbered.
