A Swiss cylinder in an unusual gold oval pendant case, circa 1860. Keywind gilt bar movement with suspended going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three-arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder and steel escape wheel. Small white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Engraved gold oval pendant with applied decorative wirework. Raised engraved circular section for the watch, the small central lid set with a pearl is sprung open by pressing the button at the edge. Gold circular hinged back with slide to reveal the apertures to wind and set the watch.
