A Swiss silver and enamel hunting cased pocket watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1860. Case engine turned with translucent blue enamel to the back, the front engine turned with blue translucent enamel and portrait of a lady, Chinese punch of Juvet. Cylinder movement, key winding. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, extravagant blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds. Dial and movement signed, case numbered.
