Gold, enamel and diamond-set full hunter by Tharby & Fils

A fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond-set hunting cased pocket watch in the style of early Patek & Czapek pocket watches, circa 1850. Geneva bar movement, rare silvered finish, interesting and unusual balanced lever with the representation of a flower at the end, key winding. White enamel dial, with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, subsidiary seconds, original hour hand, original seconds hand, minute hand and glass missing. Polychrome enamel portraits on both sides, both paintings also with rose-cut diamonds (two diamonds missing). Case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered.
