A very fine French 18 carat rose gold quarter repeating open faced cylinder pocket watch, circa 1820. Fine cylinder movement, repeating the hours and quarter hours. Cuvette inscribed: Hr. M.cien de S.M. Le Roi de Prusse Köppen à Paris Rue Nve St Augustin No 9. Engine-turned dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, fine rose gold Breguet hands. Engine-turned case, gold punch France 1819-1838. Case numbered, cuvette signed.
