Unique, early Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel pocket watch with seconde morte and two time zones, circa 1850. Lever movement with two flying barrels, sapphires. White enamel dial, blued steel hands, jumping center seconds, two time zones and subsidiary seconds. À goutte case, reeded mid section, lateral slider to stop the centre seconds, engraved image of the English Royal Coat-of-Arms with the slogan ‘Dieu et Mon Droit’ to the enamelled back, maker’s mark Girod. Dial signed.
